Decision

Imagine being this young, and making a conscious focused decision to serve and follow God all your life.

Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath. And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.

Promise

Fruit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Gentle

Great read....

We can all change the way we walk through life with focus. You choose whether to pound your way through life making sure everyone hears the rhythm of your being or you can walk with grace, control, and power. 

You can loudly make your presence known by the choices you make and by rehearsing your pain or you can choose to be gentle and peaceful. 

In the same respect, you can choose to be gentle or rough in your daily dealings with people. 

Regardless of your personality type, your ethnic background, or your family heritage, make a choice to be a gentle person. 

Gentleness always cultivates strength and beauty in the heart of a believer. If gentleness is a challenging virtue to uphold, then spend time with some compassionate and considerate people and then observe how they respond to others. 

Peace

God longs for you to embrace God’s peace, which declares, “There is nothing to fear. I have been to your future and it is well. I am there.”

That is very comforting ..  

The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

Friendships

When you go through disappointment or crisis or loss is when you need your friends the most. You need to accept help from others. 

God doesn’t intend for you to handle all the pain and stress in your life by yourself. We were wired for each other. We need each other. We’re social beings. 

The first thing God said in the Garden of Eden is, “It’s not good for man to be alone.” We’re made to be in relationships. 

Job 6:14 says, “When desperate people give up on God Almighty, their friends, at least, should stick with them” (MSG).
